As an Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our company’s operations by interacting with clients on a daily basis, providing both commercial and technical information.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Giving trainings to hospitals, clinics, organizations or individuals, preparing presentations, answering questions.
- Offering comprehensive product advice, understanding the customer’s needs, proposing practical solutions, preparing quotations.
- Identifying cross-selling opportunities with established customers to develop the business and maintaining good relationships.
- Processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery to customers.

Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing shipments to ensure accurate delivery to the end customer and managing information for our website and internal database.
A small part of the role will involve generating leads, planning meetings with potential customers – this makes the role much more interesting than a regular Field Service Engineer (where you only take care of the maintenance of the devices) or a Sales Engineer (where you only speak to new clients).
This means you get to have the human contact together with the technical aspect, which will make your daily life much more stimulating. Juniors are also welcome to apply.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in IT, Elektromechanica, Computer Science or similar technical background. Relevant experience is also accepted.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
- Solid technical understanding and proficiency in common programs. Ability to install PCs and willingness to learn. various software applications.
- Residency in the local area and possession of a driver’s license (B category) and ability to travel through Belgium (50% of the role).
